The first thing I thought was “Oh, no!”

We got out of the car and into a fog bank. It was near the end of October and the morning of one of our Fall Mini-Session days at the Altom Farm. Our beautiful model Alyssa and her grandmother Mary had gotten up early along with us, anticipating great weather.

Unfortunately, the weatherman let us down. To say it was chilly would be a huge understatement and we had about as much visibility as we would have had in London. Not exactly optimal shooting conditions. We considered rescheduling, but in the end we decided to wait it out.

And as the sun rose higher in the sky and the temperature began to climb, the fog started to lift, along with our spirits. We got started about 40 minutes later than we had hoped, but once we did, it was definitely worth it. Alyssa is a stunner and a natural as a model. Her shots turned out great.

Hopefully you will think so too.
