They had known each other for years.

Mike had this biker buddy named Doug, see, who had this pretty sister Patti who became  a school teacher. But Mike, the rugged cowboy type, married someone else and so did Patti.

Flash forward a couple of decades or so and both Patti and Mike are all alone. They meet again at the high school volleyball game, start dating and suddenly there’s a wedding.

Now it might sound like something out of a Hallmark movie, but sometimes life really does imitate art. Mike and Patti are a real love story and made it official Dec.11 at the Mountain Lodge in Flat Rock, N.C.

We were fortunate enough to be there to capture their day for them. We had done her niece Caroline’s senior shoot last year, and Patti fell in love with what she saw. We were honored that she would want us to record her and Mike’s wedding.
